An interesting binary discussion November 15, 2009 J. I. Krzykowski (Missouri USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book as a required text book for a graduate course. While generally I don't find my text books particularly interesting, this one is. It is divided into sections, each section focusing on a different educational issue, and that issue is dissected from both sides of the argument. I find the binary discussion to be very enlightening and edifying.
Informative and Interesting December 8, 2009 N. Anderson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had to buy this book for my Intro to Education Class (MAT program). It was informative and the topics were very interesting. I would like to have read more than just one argument for both sides, but I think it was worth the buy.
Taking Sides review October 19, 2007 Susan A. Mrusko I'm using this textbook for a class on Issues in Education. It's ok not something that I would normally read.
